Tsuru are hosting this exclusive tutored Japanese whisky tasting with food for Japan Society members. Those attending will have the opportunity to taste four Japanese whiskies from world champion producers, Nikka and Suntory, alongside dishes from Tsuru’s menu. An expert will be on hand to guide you through the whiskies and give tasting markers as well as answer your questions. Japanese whisky is similar in style to Scottish whisky and regularly competes for the top spot at world whisky tastings.

with Japanese pickle maki – inari sushi and sweetened shiitake

with Chicken Katsu Curry
Tsuru offers hand-made sushi, authentic katsu curry and other Japanese dishes made by experienced chefs using fresh, sustainable ingredients. Since 2007 their restaurant behind Tate Modern has been serving the business and Japanese community and Tsuru Bishopsgate opens on April 6th 2010 offering the same range of Japanese dishes, which are prepared from scratch.
