The Bribery Act will create a new scheme of bribery offences that will enable courts and prosecutors to respond more effectively to bribery in the UK or abroad. The talk will focus on the practical implications of the Act for corporates, as well as contrasting the effect of the Act with the US FCPA.

The talk will be followed by a question and answer session moderated by Dr Chizu Nakajima, Director of The Centre for Financial Regulation and Crime, Cass Business School, and Co-Chairman of the BJLA.

The talk will be followed by drinks so that members can discuss the issues with each other and the speakers.
There will be an opportunity after this seminar for all participants to socialise and network together.
