To mark the publication of Biographical Portraits VII, the Japan Society is holding this special free lecture at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, in association with the Japan Research Centre, SOAS.

This book forms part of a series of volumes which record the lives of people who have contributed in various ways to the development of UK-Japan relations. The current volume brings the Japan Society’s collection of individual memoirs to a cumulative total in excess of 350 biographical portraits.

We should be delighted if you could join us for this occasion. Please contact the Japan Society office to let us know if you are able to attend. Copies of the book will be available to purchase on the night for a special price of £10. There will also be a range of other titles from the series for sale on the night for those wanting to fill any gaps in their collection!

For those unable to attend the lecture, additional copies of the volume are available to buy from the Japan Society office at £12 excluding postage. Postage inclusive prices are: £15 to UK addresses; £22 to Europe; and £29 Worldwide e.g. Japan, USA, Australia.
