Competition – Win tickets to the Short Circuit Festival: Raster-Noton
To celebrate their 15th anniversary, the german electronic label Raster-Noton have confirmed a line-up for the opening night of Short Circuit Festival, which features the premier of Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto’s new piece, plus performances from Anne James Chaton, Grischa Lichtenberger, Atom TM, Byetone and Mark Fell.
Opening with the world premiere of Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto’s fifth collaborative release on Raster-Noton, this is an unusual creative partnership between the oscar-prize honored film composer Sakamoto and the fine artist and electronic music pioneer Carsten Nicolai.
The Short-Circuit Festival organization have kindly offered Japan Society members the chance to win on of 5 pairs of tickets to the event.
To enter – simply send your name, email address, daytime telephone number and the name of your nearest venue to john.toppon@japansociety.org.uk by 5.30pm on Monday 9th May 2011. If you do not have an email, please telephone the Japan Society office on 020 7828 6330. The winner will be chosen at random and notified accordingly. Tickets will be available to pick up from the box office on the day.
