Akemi Solloway
Akemi Solloway, the daughter of an old samurai family, works as a teacher and lecturer. She has a collection of over 100 kimono, has appeared on television in the UK and Japan, and regularly organises cultural visits to the UK by masters of Japanese arts. She also runs Japan Days for schools and societies.

She is a popular speaker at anime and manga conventions, as well as university student societies and ladies luncheon clubs.

She is a CRB checked member of Equity and of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers.
