Juppun Japan Thursday, 9th October 2008, 6.00pm to 9.30pm
The University of the Arts London, in collaboration with The Japan Society and the Embassy of Japan has curated a series of short films created by their Japanese alumni and graduates which will be screened on their newly refurbished Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground at Chelsea College of Art & Design. The event brings together a diverse range of people in a unique space and aims to encourage cultural exchange between Japanese students and the London arts community. There will be traditional Japanese food stalls, selling yakitori, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, yakisoba and free drinks and goodies kindly supplied by Kirin, Suntory and Clearspring Foods. With kendo demonstrations and DJs playing contemporary Japanese music it will be an exciting night for all.
