These colourful and interesting chests contain over 30 authentic Japanese items and are designed to complement classwork on Japan.
These are teacher resource packs on specific Japan related topics. Subjects covered include: earthquakes & volcanoes; Japanese language; music; kimono and folk tales.
This is a new resource for teachers at foundation level. Each pack comprises colourful wall posters and related classroom activities.
Kamishibai

This is a traditional Japanese storytelling technique. Colour picture cards are used to provide visual stimulus while the story is being read from the back.
An exhibition showing the everyday lives of Japanese young people. Taken by Japanese teenagers, the photographs offer surprising insights into the personality of the individuals represented and an exciting introduction into Japanese youth culture as a whole.
Teaching soroban, pupil soroban, calligraphy brushes etc can also be loaned to schools.
