Hiroshima

After suffering from the nuclear bomb that at the end of World War II, Hiroshima now stands as a symbol of peace. The island prefecture holds one of the most famous land marks in Japan – the Torii gate of the Miyajima shrine that sits in the middle of water during high tide.
