Daiba-Tokyo

The name “Odaiba” refers to the six island fortress created in order to protect Tokyo in the 19th century. In 1928 the third battery was refurbished and opened up to the public as the Metropolitan Daiba Park. During the 1990’s the island developed drastically as an entertainment park with many attractions including it’s very own Statue of Liberty. Odaiba can be accessed in many ways including crossing the Rainbow Bridge or taking a boat along the water front.
