We are delighted to be partnering with The Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association on two special tutored tastings. This is an ideal opportunity for all members who would like to know a bit more about sake production, different styles of sake, and how to enjoy it on different occasions, especially at home.

For this first session, we are delighted to welcome Rie Yoshitake to give an introduction to sake on behalf of The Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association. We will be joined also by three sake experts to guide us through the different sakes: Miho Komatsu of Akashitai, Tetsusaburo Mogi of JFC and Asami Tasaka of World Sake Imports. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and share observations over the course of the evening.

Participants will receive a package containing 7 bottles (300ml or 500ml) of different types of sake from breweries across Japan. All the sake is available to purchase in the UK, so you’ll be able to continue enjoying your favourites even after the tasting supplies run out.
