ONLINE WORKSHOP - Japanese Language Taster for Young People

ONLINE WORKSHOP - Japanese Language Taster for Young People

We are delighted to announce FREE online taster language sessions for secondary school and sixth-form students. Designed for beginners with no previous experience with Japanese, our friendly online classroom is perfect for those who are new to the language and want to give it a try.

About the Sessions

The two-part taster takes place over 2 consecutive Saturdays so secondary and sixth form students can learn everything they need to introduce themselves in Japanese!

No prior knowledge of Japanese is necessary and all UK-based students are welcome to sign up. Class sizes are limited to a small group so that participants will have many opportunities to practise speaking and time to ask everything they want to know about nihongo (Japanese) to the session leader, Kae Harding!

At the end of the session students will be able to say:

  • Different greetings
  • Their own name and to ask others for theirs
  • Where they are from
  • Some things they like and dislike

About the Teacher

Kae Harding is a native Japanese speaker and experienced teacher. She has studied teaching Japanese as a foreign language and trained and worked at the Naganuma School of the Japanese Language in Tokyo. She now lives in the UK and is looking forward to meeting you in her online classroom!
