Free Japanese calligraphy workshop for young people ages 13 - 18!
Learn the traditional Japanese art of calligraphy, known as shodo, in this workshop for teenagers and young people this October half-term.
Young people and friends between the ages 13-18 are invited to come along to learn and experience this traditional art form with calligrapher and artist Aya Burbanks.
In this workshop you will:
- Learn about the Japanese writing system
- Practice writing kanji characters in different scripts
- Create a greeting card to take home.
*Please note that the calligraphy ink can stain clothing, so please ensure that you wear appropriate clothing.

This workshop is open to young peole between ages 13-18 only. Participants will be asked to confirm their age after booking. - Booking Confirmation
