The Japan Society Annual Dinner 2024 - Photos

On Monday 11 November 2024, we welcomed members and guests to The Japan Society Annual Dinner held in the grand surroundings of the The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.

Dressed in their best, our guests enjoyed a drink and conversation with fellow members before settling down for a delicious meal. Entertainment for the evening was provided by the brilliantly witty, Yuriko Kotani, UK-based Japanese comedian.

After a last minute change, unfortunately Her Imperial Highness Princess Akiko of Mikasa was unable to attend, however we were joined by the new Ambassador of Japan in the UK, Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki, who stepped in for a conversation with Chair of The Japan Society, Bill Emmott.

We are extremely grateful to everyone that attended what was a wonderful evening and those that continue to support The Japan Society and our community. 

We also extend a huge thank you to JTI for their support for our Annual Dinner, which allows us to offer subsidised tickets.
