Annual Dinner 2025 - Photos

On Friday 14 November 2025, many members of The Japan Society joined us in the grand surroundings of the House of Commons for The Japan Society Annual Dinner 2025.

We were honoured to be joined by our special guest for the evening, broadcaster and former Secretary of State The Rt Hon Michael Portillo, who reflected on his recent travel experiences in Japan.

We also had the pleasure of hosting the Patron of The Japan Society, HRH The Duke of Gloucester, as well as Minister Ikegami, acting as Chargé d'affaires in Ambassador Suzuki's absence from the UK.

It was an incredible evening of delicious food and warm conversation. We are extremely grateful to JTI for their sponsorship of this event, along with the additional support of Suntory and Central JR. And of course our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us and made the evening such a memorable one.
