Survey on the UK's Youth Mobility Scheme and Japan's Working Holiday Visa

The Japan Society is launching a new project to boost the number of young people undertaking these life-changing experiences and building bridges between our two countries.
As part of this, we are conducting a survey on expectations and realities.
The survey is for
- Those who have considered applying
- Those who have applied
- Those who are on either visa
- Those who have used either visa
The survey takes approximately 5-8 minutes to complete.
UK citizens: Take the Working Holiday Visa Survey
Japanese citizens: Take the Youth Mobility Scheme (YMS) Survey
As a thank you, all eligible respondents will:
- Be able to enter a prize draw for a £50 or ¥10,000 book voucher.
- Receive a complimentary one-year membership for The Japan Society. If you are an existing member, your complimentary membership will be applied to your next renewal period.
The survey will close on Sunday, 27th September 2026.

ザ・ジャパンソサエティ（日本協会）では、こうした人生を変える貴重な機会への参加を促進するとともに、日英間の交流をさらに深めることを目的とした新たなプロジェクトを開始します。 その一環として、制度に対する期待と実際の経験について調査するアンケートを実施しています。 このアンケートは、以下のような方を対象としています。
- ビザへの申請を検討したことがある方
- ビザを申請したことがある方
- 現在いずれかのビザで滞在中の方
- 過去にいずれかのビザを利用して滞在したことがある方
アンケートの所要時間は約5～8分です。
謝礼として、対象となる回答者の皆さまには以下をご用意しております。
- £50または10,000円分の図書券が当たる抽選にご応募いただけます。
- 日本協会会員資格（一年間）を無料でご提供いたします。すでに会員の方には、次回更新時に無料期間を適用いたします。
