We are pleased to be taking part in Express Yourself 2022 - an online event celebrating languages and cultures in North East England and its connections with the world.

Our festival activity is a simple introduction to Japanese aimed at KS2 pupils; use our resource materials to join in the fun! Participants can learn basic greetings, numbers 1-10, how to write in Japanese kanji characters, as well as get moving with the Radio Taiso exercise routine.

Express Yourself is a celebration of the diverse languages, cultures and communities in the North East and its connections with the world, with lots of free activities, events and resources for our schools and communities.
