About Inko

Inko Takita is a fun lady, growing up with Manga and Japanese art. Now, she’s a UK based Japanese manga artist / illustrator.

Her beautiful and unique visual works imply crossovers of Eastern and Western cultures. She studied undergraduate and master at Kyoto Zokei university of Art & Design in Japan (scholarship on the 2nd year), BA Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design in UK, and has worked with the British Museum, V&A, British Library, TFL, Sony Entertainment Japan, and more!

Her inspiration comes from old art she found at her family Buddhist temple, folktales, and comedy shows! Usually, she indulges herself in activities such as gardening and DIY.
