We are pleased to be taking part in Express Yourself 2024 - an online event celebrating languages and cultures in North East England and its connections with the world.

Our festival activity is a simple introduction to Japanese aimed at KS2 pupils; use our resource materials to join in the fun! Participants can learn basic greetings, numbers 1-10, how to write in Japanese kanji characters, as well as get moving with the Radio Taiso exercise routine.

Those who register will also have access to our new calligraphy tutorial video and other video resources. 

Anyone is welcome to join in - register below to get access to all the activity materials!

Express Yourself is a celebration of the diverse languages, cultures and communities in the North East and its connections with the world, with lots of free activities, events and resources for our schools and communities.
