Celebrate a day of Japanese food and culture at the Japan Matsuri in Trafalgar Square on Sunday 6 October! A regular fixture now in the London calendar, this free annual festival brings people together to enjoy Japanese food, music, dance, and activities for all the family. Let's repeat the success of Japan Matsuri 2023 which was a wonderful day with over 40,000 visitors!

Come and meet The Japan Society staff at our stall on the north terrace, in front of the National Gallery (opposite St. Martin in the Fields), to find out more about the Society and try our Make a Wish activity! Don’t forget to enter our daruma design competition too!

Expect a huge selection of Japanese food and drink and cultural activities, plus an incredible line-up of performances.
