Annual Dinner 2022 - Photos

On Tuesday 12 July 2022, we were delighted to welcome members and guests to the first in-person Annual Dinner event since 2019. Guests enjoyed the chance to catch up after such a long time over a glass of wine and a delicious meal, all in the surroundings of the historic and beautiful Chelsea Physic Garden.

During the course of the evening, Bill Emmott, chair of the Japan Society, was joined in conversation by Kumiko Mendl and Kazuko Hohki co-curators of Tsunagu/Connect, and Japanese Ambassador to the UK, Hajime Hayashi.

We thank everyone that joined us on this special occasion, and give special thanks to Tsunagu/Connect for exhibiting at the event and inspiring members to think back on significant memories of Japan and the UK.
