Calligraphy Workshop: Summer Greetings - Photos

Following our popular kakizome workshop in January, Japan Society was pleased to host a shochu mimai (summer greeting cards) workshop on Saturday 22 July. Guided by calligrapher Yoko Takenami, participants discovered different styles of Japanese writing, understood how to use a brush correctly and learnt how to combine kanji and hiragana in an aesthetically pleasing way.
