Woodblock Printing Workshop with Hiroko Imada - Photos

On Saturday 18 November, a small group of members and friends joined us at Baker Street for a quiet afternoon of woodblock printing with artist, Hiroko Imada.

In this half-day workshop, participants were guided through the basic process of woodblock printing, or moku-hanga. Each carved their own design onto a block which they then printed on to Japanese paper. We were incredibly impressed by the results!
