Woodblock Printing Workshops with Hiroko Imada (June 2024) - Photos

On Saturday 1 June 2024 and Monday 3 June 2024, we held two Woodblock Printing Workshops for our members and friends with London-based artist Hiroko Imada.

Under Hiroko’s guidance in these half-day workshops, participants learned the basic process of woodblock printing, known as moku-hanga. They created their own designs, carved them onto blocks, and then printed their work onto Japanese paper.

We, along with the participants, were very pleased with the results of their work!
