Sashiko workshop with Studio Masachuka - Photos

On Saturday 10 August 2024, we hosted five Sashiko Workshops in partnership with Studio Masachuka and Uniqlo UK in Uniqlo’s Flagship London Store.

The workshop introduced attendees to the traditional sashiko stitching technique. The group was shown how to use the technique before having a go themselves. The workshops were attended by those who were completely new to sewing as well as some who used the workshop as a refresher to further upskill themselves on the sashiko technique. It was great that members were able to learn under Masashiko’s guidance, as well as staff from Uniqlo.
