On Thursday 21 May 2020, Japan Society members and friends were invited to participate in the seventh event in our Webinar Series: The Effect of the Pandemic on Diplomatic and Commercial Relations with China. The Japan Society chairman, Bill Emmott, was joined in discussion by Kerry Brown, Professor of Chinese Studies and Director of the Lau China Institute at Kings College, London, and Akio Takahara, Professor of contemporary Chinese politics and diplomacy at the Graduate School of Public Policy, University of Tokyo.
