Sixth Form Japan Day 2026 is Back! Study Japan: Language, Culture & Opportunities.

We are pleased to announce that The Japan Society's Sixth Form Japan Day returns this autumn on Tuesday 10 November 2026.

With a focus on Japan-related studies at the university level, the programme aims to provide students with insights into Japanese language and culture, as well as subsequent career opportunities. It is a unique opportunity for students to explore the wonders of Japan, its rich heritage, and its global significance. Best of all, it is completely FREE!

The day is carefully crafted to provide a comprehensive experience through engaging lecture tasters, language workshops, and hands-on cultural activities. Students can attend the event on their own or with teachers; permission from school and parents or guardian is required to attend. Bursaries are available for students who needs support with their travel expenses–see FAQs for more information.
