Teaching Soroban Loan Scheme - Terms and Conditions

Before submitting a loan request, please read the following carefully.

Eligibility

The long-term loan scheme is intended for teachers and educators to introduce soroban to their students. All UK-based teachers or educators working in a school and involved in teaching numeracy or mathematics are eligible to are apply for a free teaching soroban loan.

Other education institutions or organisations may be eligible for a loan and can contact the education team for further information or submit an application form. It is recommended that non-school applicants provide sufficient detail to demonstrate how the teaching soroban will be used.

Please note that we are unable to lend teaching soroban to parents or for-profit organisations. If you are not eligible for a long-term teaching soroban loan, you may like to use our other soroban resources or request to borrow teaching soroban and individual soroban under our short-term loan.
