The Japan Society

Welcome to the Japan Society Soroban tutorial video library! These videos have been made by Tomoko Hoult to demonstrate how teaching soroban can be used in the classroom. We also have resources explaining how students can use small individual sized soroban, check out our soroban scheme of work for more information.

Our aim is to support educators and help them make the most of the soroban, so if you have any tutorial video requests or need advice please contact the education team at education@japansociety.org.uk
