The annual golf match between The Japan Society and The Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry is being held this year on Sunday 13 October at Brocket Hall. Twelve players from each organisation will compete for the Collar Cup, which was won in 2023 by JCCI.
The match will be played on the Palmerston Course, a beautiful par 73 course with stunning views and surroundings. The Estate’s ancient woodland of rare Hornbeam, Scots and Corsican Pine and 500-year-old Oak trees create some of the most spectacular hazards likely to be encountered on a golf course.
The day will include refreshments upon arrival at the Palmerston Course, Halfway House, the 18-hole competition, dinner at 4.30pm (approx.) at the Clubhouse, and the presentation ceremony for the Cup at the end of the day.
We are now seeking names for the team and would love to hear from members who are golfers and would like to participate. The Collar Cup is capped at the course handicap index of 32.
