For this October edition of Macro Salon, Jesper and Bill will be joined by Eleanor Olcott, China Tech Correspondent at the Financial Times. They will discuss China’s rapidly evolving technology sector, including AI and semiconductors, US-China tech competition, and Japan-China relations, including competition in key technology sectors and changing attitudes towards Japan among younger generations in China.

The annual golf match between The Japan Society and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry is being held this year on Sunday 11 October at Winter Hill Golf Club. Twelve players from each organisation will compete for the Collar Cup, which was won in 2025 by the JCCI.
