This information pack is filled with all the essential information you need to know to be able to host your Japan Day, so that you can engage participants of all ages in learning about Japan with a range of interactive and immersive cultural activities!

The pack includes information and activities that cover a range of topics, including origami, manga, Japanese language, haiku, and more - there's something for everyone! With links to useful resources and materials, the activities are easy to set-up and easy to adapt to suit a range of learners.

  • The Japan Activity Chest contains over 50 authentic traditional and modern Japanese artefacts and comprehensive teacher’s notes. 
  • Apply for a volunteer to visit your school with our Japan in Your Classroom scheme. Our volunteers will introduce aspects of Japanese life and culture, and share Japan-related skills with your class.
