An I-Novel is a semi-autobiographical book that was once deemed untranslatable. Upon its publishing in 1995, it broke the rules of conventional Japanese literature by incorporating the English language throughout the novel.

The annual golf match between the Japan Society and the JCCI is being held this year on Sunday 9 October at Brocket Hall. Twelve players from each organisation will compete for the Collar Cup, which was won in 2021 by the Japan Society.
