The annual golf match between The Japan Society and the JCCI is being held this year on Sunday 8 October at Brocket Hall. Twelve players from each organisation will compete for the Collar Cup, which was won in 2022 by The Japan Society.

A short online training course for UK teachers on the Japanese abacus, or soroban. Learn how to use the soroban to improve students' understanding of numbers and inject some fun and cross-cultural learning into regular numeracy or maths sessions.

The Diary recorded by Lady Murasaki, author of The Tale of Genji, is an intimate picture of her life as tutor and companion to the young Empress Shoshi. Told in a series of vignettes, it offers revealing glimpses of the Japanese imperial palace.
