The Japan Society at the FT Nikkei UK Ekiden
On June 12, 2026, The Japan Society Trustees Darren Goff and Clare Weaver participated in the 3rd FT Nikkei UK Ekiden. As members of the State Visit Legacy Team, they completed a 112km relay along the Thames Path to celebrate the strong friendship between the UK and Japan.
Japanese Treasures at the Bodleian: A Private View - Photos
The Japan Society hosted an exclusive private tour of the Japanese collection at the Bodleian Libraries, followed by a guided visit to the historic Old Bodleian. The event offered members and guests a rare opportunity to engage directly with one of Europe’s oldest and most significant collections of Japanese rare books and manuscripts, spanning over 1,200 years from the Nara period to the twentieth century.
