The Japan Youth Collective 2023-2024

The Japan Youth Collective is a new initiative for 16-19 year olds interested in Japan. Members of the Collective are working with the Japan Society over 8 months to discover more about Japan, meet new people, learn new skills and work on a final event to inspire others. 

Our 16 participants come from all across Greater London and are interested in many different aspects of Japan. The 2023 programme kicked off with a two-day orientation at Japan House London at the end of August and the Collective continue to meet bimonthly, coming together to explore Japanese culture. 

Their final outcome was a participant-led event for friends and family in April 2024. Take a look at Discover Japan Day!
