Japanese Culture and Wellbeing
These resources have been designed for teachers to promote positive mental health and wellbeing through the exploration of Japanese culture. Using the NHS ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ (Connect, Be Active, Keep Learning, Take Notice and Give) pupils will explore the concept of wellbeing and how it might be improved through engagement with the events, customs and celebrations of Japan. No prior knowledge of Japanese culture or language is needed.
Download the Japanese Culture and Wellbeing Scheme of Work - PDF (167 KB) and All Lesson Resources (Zip File 18.1MB) or visit the lesson pages for more detailed information, additional resources, or to download individual resources.
