The Geography of Japan is a 7 lesson unit for KS3 designed to give students an introduction to both the human and physical geography of Japan. It is pitched at Year 7 and 8 classes but could be adapted for other year groups.

Over the course of the unit, students will learn about Japan’s location, climate, wildlife, population, and natural hazards. In addition to the main topics covered in each lesson, other cultural topics are introduced throughout the scheme, giving students a deeper insight into Japan.
